NOW! Swab Test™

The NOW! Swab Test™ is a simple and rapid test (12 hours) for Gram negative bacteria sampling with a swab method. Utilizing a unique enzyme detection method, the easy to read fluorometer tests for Gram negative bacterial growth (<10 cfu) by reading telltale fluorescence in the recaptured sample. If the fluorometer reading is positive for Gram negative bacteria, reprocess the tested item following the manufacturer guidelines. The NOW! Swab Test™ is available as a standard item (NOW-1100; includes flocked swabs, cuvettes, 5mL vial of water, tweezers, pipettes, gram negative test, and Ziploc bags), and a starter kit (NOW-1100SK; includes incubator and fluorometer).
